Job Summary
B&B Blending has an opening for a Senior Sales Account Manager to join its Northglenn, CO based team!
This role would be have a broad responsibility for account management of an assigned book of business and assist the organization by organically growing these accounts via new product introduction, SKU absorption (relevant, parallel SKUs), and facilitation of timely delivery of goods, on time and in-full, with high quality – high order entry accuracy and assist in root cause analysis of complaints or issues. The Senior Sales Account Manager would develop a strong rapport with our customer base and their book of business and identify areas of opportunity to grow these accounts or inquire and retrieve new accounts and opportunities as assigned or as they arise.
Additionally, the Senior Sales Account Manager would work to develop new leads obtained from sources such as the website, trade show attendance, travel, and connections made by networking within the industry and self-initiated research. There would be expectations and requirements for new clientele to be added to the company’s portfolio of business on a quarterly and yearly basis.
This role would report in to our Interim VP of Sales & Marketing and would collaborate with our Lab as it pertains to sourcing feedback related to New Product Development (NPD), product sampling, new part # acquisition, quotations, order entry and customer service related activities such as a quality error.
Primary Responsibilities

Growth/Development:

Work as part of the Sales & Marketing team to achieve forecasted revenue goals and margin targets for assigned accounts and new opportunities.

New Clientele On-Boarding:

Work with new clients on sampling and qualification of formulations.

Establish the Bill of Materials and componentry necessary to

Customer communication:

Introduce company Senior Executives to new accounts via leads generated from sources such as the website.

E-mail or Phone Contact with customers every month and as needed or appropriate.

Introduce New Products to assigned accounts every month and as needed or appropriate.

Sample or arrange demos of coating products to assigned accounts every month, where necessary and appropriate.

Develop and/or become familiar with technical product skills such as:
-
Polishing automotive clear coat;
-
Applying interior and exterior automotive dressings;

Washing & maintenance of automobiles;
-
Applying ceramic coatings to various surfaces;

Variance in quality attributes of different formulations for like processes in automotive detailing;

Collaboration:
-
Work closely with Media Engineers, Chemists, Sales & Marketing teams and customers to authenticate private label brands and ensure compliance with current and future laws both domestically and internationally.

Manage future and existing assigned projects, set objectives and report on status and performance in a timely and efficient manner.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Expected travel of approximately 25-50% to attend trade shows and face-to-face meetings with clients, provide training and hands on expertise.

Qualifications

Experience:
-
5-8 years related sales experience or relevant education to supplement.

Education/Background:

Understand basic chemical concepts or have ability or willingness to learn quickly.

Personality/Behavioral:

Be involved or have interest in learning the automotive detailing industry.

Extremely detail oriented and accurate in all aspects of this position.

Needs to be highly organized and systematic/methodical in approach to projects.

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions when given appropriate empowerment and authority.

Full-Time; Monday-Friday; Flexible Hours and Hybrid Work Schedule available contingent on manager approval and agreement.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary:
-
An annual base salary will be provided according to an already provided book of business to start.

Commissions:
-
Commissions will be paid at a given percentage according to revenue generated by assigned accounts up to fiscal year budgeted sales goals.

Elevated commission percentages will be given for any revenue generated by assigned accounts in excess of fiscal year budgeted sales goals.

Commissions earned are paid in the second pay period after the month incurred.

Commissions are subject to gross margin targets.

Sales are expected to be profitable business with a minimum expected gross margin.

As a commissioned employee, this role will not be eligible to participate in the company’s bonus incentive plan.
